Name: Cuel Lirínima
Race: Nandor (Silvan) Elf
Home: Southland wilderness (inhospitable now)
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 115 lbs
Age: Around 350 years
How Old Does She Appear: 18-20. Only elves recognize how genuinely “young” she is
Body Build: Dainty, nimble
Eye Color: Milky-white (plus golden flecks when interacting with magic / singing or playing music)
Skin Tone: Very fare, with a slight tan to forearms and face
Distinguishing Marks: Faint freckles across cheeks and forearms
Hair Color: Dark red
Hairstyle: Wavy, with many layers. Usually half-braided, ending in a single large braid down the back
Voice: Whispy, but quick-tongued (for an elf)
Overall Attractiveness: Moderate for an elf. Nothing uniquely stand-out
Usual Fashion of Dress: Old traded hunting cloaks with a white tunic underneath and a large belt and blue sash, thin pants and extremely durable hiking boots (often mistaken for a ranger from a far distance)
Jewelry or Accessories: A few thin gold bracelets that have been soldered around her wrist, unable to be removed
Favorite Color: Orange / red (sunset colors)
Favorite Food: Nuts and berries of any kind (except for blue raspberries –she hates those)
Favorite Literature: A Study of the Creatures of Middle-earth
Favorite Entertainment: Meditating, carving stories and songs into sticks, and exploring cave systems
Most Prized Possession: A small sharp object that gives her the ability to see via her mind
Family Relations: Mother (died in flood 50 years ago), Father (never met, unknown [suspected to be a non-elf]), no siblings
Did they own a pet? Yes, many over the years, including deer, foxes, wolves, butterflies, and moths. None currently
What sort of job did they have? What did they like about it? As soon as she was of age, Cuel would excitedly go out as often as possible to entertain the surrounding town pubs and inns with beautiful ballads in exchange for information on the world outside of the south. She stopped going to town after her mother died, and many places now consider her a small folk-legend whose lovely voice disappeared just as quickly as she had come
What is their most prized memory? When her mother gifted her an object that allowed her to see for the first time (age 150)
What do they feel are their best traits as a person? Her judge of character and openness to all races. She strives to be genuine in all aspects of herself, including tenderheartedness, patience, and generosity (still working on that last one)
What don't they like about themselves? She hates feeling so out of touch with her kin / race. Whenever she meets other elves, they judge her for her appearance and lack of elven-pride. Especially when they learn that she’s of Nandor descent. She feels split between what is expected of her and what she’s always known
What's one goal they have for themselves besides staying alive? Traveling all of Middle-earth and seeing every corner, and eventually settling down with someone to live through the ages in quiet peace and love
What is their moral standpoint on killing? On stealing? As she is immortal, she often wrestles with taking other lives, including animals. But she reasons that they do not live the same kind of life that she does, and she therefore can manage it. She’s never had to kill another sentient being before, and the idea unnerves her heart. Stealing has never been on her agenda either, but if she ever found herself desperate enough, she would (very guiltily) do it
Are they passionate about something? She loves how the world is always in motion around her, be it good or bad (though she prefers hearing about the good). Her innocent wonder is infinite, and she pours much of her open emotions into her songs. Music and animals are her love
What is one thing they can't stand? Cruelty for the sake of cruelty, especially towards animals. And hostility between different races
Are they trying to get home to another place? Currently on the lookout for a new place to settle –once she’s finished exploring Middle-earth
Are they very social and friendly, or a loner? Why? Friendly and social by nature, but since her mothers passing, she’s become much less eager to initiate conversations with strangers
Is your character more likely to spare lives or cut them down? Most certainly would spare a life if she felt it safe enough to do so
What are they scared of the most? Water. Ever since the flood that washed her childhood home and her mother away, she hasn’t been able to bare standing in anything deeper than her ankles
